Pitch In
Sport at AGS is an essential part of our learning and teaching. Our limited space and outdated facilities do not meet the needs of our students or our community. We aim to create an all-weather multi-purpose pitch on site to resolve this and support a diverse range of curricular and extra-curricular sporting activities.
Currently we are one of the only schools in the area without an artificial pitch, relying on offsite grass facilities with both health and safety and accessibility concerns. These spaces are often unusable, limiting activities from November to March.
However, this initiative is not just about improving facilities; it's about reshaping learning, inspiring our students to pursue an active lifestyle beyond School. It is our duty to nurture their character through participation in sport, benefitting both the physical and mental wellbeing of our students.
